The rooms are nice and convenient. Lisa at the check-in desk is sooo nice and accommodating. I think this is our new favorite place to stay when visiting ruidoso. Coffee and muffins are offered in the little lobby in the mornings.
Sitzmark Chalet is THE only place to stay, Lisa is fantastic!!! The rooms are fresh and clean. You will get the best night sleep. Sitzmark is our go to place to stay . This place feels like home and you wont want to leave! Thank you Lisa for the most pleasant stay ever!!!! We will see you soon ...again and again.
We just stayed at the Sitzmark Chalet in Ruidoso and were genuinely impressed—especially for the price. The pictures online don’t do this place justice at all. We stayed in the double queen suite, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly with fresh cookies, hot chocolate, and coffee. The charm and decor throughout the property are unmatched—this hotel feels like a cozy mountain lodge, not a generic stay. Our room was spotless and incredibly comfortable. We had everything we needed: Roku TV, an electric fireplace, wine glasses, and even a corkscrew! We’ve stayed in so many hotels where we’ve had to beg for a corkscrew—so this was a huge plus. The old-school room keys were such a fun and nostalgic touch, and the whole vibe made our weekend feel special and relaxed. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be booking here again! Highly recommend the Sitzmark Chalet if you’re heading to Ruidoso.
Found this place after we checked into our Air B&B and found it to be filthy. Called up and was quickly accommodated. Booked two rooms and was pleasantly surprised. Rooms were wonderful. Staff was amazing. Sauna and coffee was a nice surprise. We were only stopping through for one night, but next time we’re in the area this will be our home.
This 1959 vintage motel is a treat. It has been updated with modern amenities while maintaining its historic character. The New Mexican decor is orchestrated perfectly. Fresh-baked muffins and coffee are offered each morning.
Clean room, comfortable beds, nice hot shower. Fresh coffee and hot muffins available every morning. The employees are friendly and accommodating. I won't hesitate to stay there again.
First off thank you very much Lisa for being kind to my husband and making his check in experience amazing! He couldn’t stop raving about you! And he was so happy with the cookie he was able to snag! The room is very nice, our only complaint is that the tv is way too small for the space.
Absolutely loved our stay at the Sitzmark Inn in Ruidoso! Such a cute, cozy, and super clean little motel — you can tell they really care about the place. The vibe is peaceful and homey, perfect for a mountain getaway. The sauna was hands down the best part — easily the best one I’ve ever used. I was sweating buckets and felt amazing afterward! This is definitely going to be our go-to spot every time we come back to Ruidoso. Highly recommend!
